The 2005 Shanghai Spring Real Estate Expo raised its curtain yesterday.
The expo, in its seventh year, has become essential to Shanghai's real
estate market. Despite the six year trend of price hikes in Shanghai's
real estate market, demand remains strong. The latest survey of
businessmen indicates that 74% believe the price on real estate will
continue to rise and want to buy a house in 2005. The more than 200
exhibitors included developers and agents of civil-use and commercial
real estate. Their products included houses, villas and commercial
buildings. At least on top grade villa was valued at more than ten
million yuan.
