BEIJING -- Japanese importers of paper for electrolytic capacitors in
China will have to pay an anti-dumping duty from Friday, according to an
announcement by the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
The announcement followed the ministry's preliminary ruling that the
paper imported from Japan constitutes dumping and harms domestic
companies.
The duty paid to Chinese customs will differ according to the extent of
dumping by different companies, the announcement said.
The anti-dumping investigation started in April this year.
