It is learned that the Communist Party's History Press published the pure-gold edition of the "Mao Zedong's handwritten Poetry" in 2004 in commemoration of the 111th anniversary of Mao Zedong's birth. The whole book, in ancient-style hardcover, collected the 24 most representative pieces of Comrade Mao Zedong's handwritten poetry from 1921 to 1965 and 3 precious photographs as well, totaling 27 pages. It features a gold portrait of Chairman Mao on the front cover. Mao Zedong's calligraphy and handwriting were embossed using pure-gold casting technology.
