Heilongjiang: Wetlands became nature reserves

According to statistics from the Forest Bureau of Heilongjiang Province,
3.13 million hectares of natural wetlands, or 70% of the total provincial
natural wetlands, have already been escalated to wetland nature reserves.
Specifically wetlands in the Xingkai Lake, Zhalong, Honghe and Sanjiang
have been elevated to "important world wetlands". There are 4.34 million
hectares of natural wetlands in Heilongjiang Province, accounting for
9.18% of the province total land acreage.
