GDP grows 11.5% in first half year

July 19 - China's gross domestic product (GDP) totaled 10.68 trillion
yuan in the first half of the year, a growth of 11.5 percent year on
year, according to latest figures provided by the National Bureau of
Statistics Thursday.
The growth was 0.5 percentage points higher from the same period of 2006.
